Home Visits: Teachers are required to conduct four (4) meetings with families throughout the year. Two (2) of these meetings must be in the home where your child can see the positive relationship between the parent and the teacher. Children are excited about their homes and teachers are excited to have the time to learn more about their students. The other two (2) meetings occur at school with the child. This provides time for the child to see the parent interested in the school setting and working with the teacher to ensure academic and social success. Please be accommodating with staff to get these meetings scheduled throughout the year. Meetings are positive and generally will not last more than one hour.
Parent Involvement: We encourage parents and guardians to volunteer, share your favorite hobby, or stop by to read a book in your child's room. Children are more successful when parents and teachers work together.
