Meet Your Counseling Staff:
Jr./Sr. High School Counselor
Mrs. Scheiding is a 2006 graduate of Williamstown High School and has been employed by Williamstown Schools since 2011. She first worked part-time as a Substitute Teacher while completing her graduate education. In 2014, Mrs. Scheiding became the Jr./Sr. High School Counselor. Her main goal is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program to all Williamstown students and families; encompassing the ASCA National Model of Academic, Career, and Personal/Social Development. Mrs. Scheiding has a passion for College and Career Readiness and strives to deliver services efficiently and effectively with data-driven techniques through classroom guidance, group counseling and individual counseling.

The daily mission of the Comprehensive School Counseling Program at Williamstown Jr./Sr. High School is to create an atmosphere of exceptional student achievement through the differentiation of instruction, inclusion of emerging technology, and research-based educational programs while instilling the core values of communication, respect, integrity, high expectations, repsonsibility, and collaboration. Our education community: parents, staff, community members, and students, work together to ensure that all graduates of Williamstown Jr./Sr. High are optimally prepared for secondary studies in order to make them globally competitive in our changing world.
The Comprehensive School Counseling Program of Williamstown Jr./Sr. High School strives to help its students become high-achievers in their current and future academic, career, and personal/social endeavorrs. The teachers of Williamstown, supported by the comprehensive counseling program, implement an array of challenging and engaging activities and strategies that foster the students' academic and personal/social growth while also leading, encouraging, and motivating them. An active, cooperative partnership among the students and stakeholders is essential for student growth, resulting in the graduates of Williamstown leading a life enhanced by college, career, and personal success.
