Hello, My name is Patricia West. I will be your child’s Third Grade teacher. I feel blessed to be able to do what I do, and I look forward to having your child in my classroom. I’ve taught for more than 20 years here at Williamstown and I am a native of Grant County. I am married and have two daughters. My husband and I live here in the Williamstown community. I have a BA degree from Northern Kentucky University in Education, and a Masters and Rank I in Education from Georgetown College. I’ve taught students in grades 3 through 10, and have learned something at every level that has enhanced my ability to relate to children. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child and working together to create an enjoyable and productive 3rd grade year!

There are many after school events and extracurricular activities for you and your child to get involved in. I have listed some of them below.
This is the parent organization at our school. They organize events for our students throughout the school year as well as provide materials/equipment for the school. The membership drive will be underway soon!
During Family Reading Night children and parents are encouraged to attend the school library and read books together. This is a great way for them to earn extra AR (Accelerated Reader) points and for you to spend quality time with your child.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at our school this year you can contact the office (824-3760) and talk with the parent volunteer coordinator. She will help you complete the necessary paperwork and assign you to a class or a child in need of your services. We have a strong parent volunteer program here at Williamstown Elementary and our students receive immeasurable benefits from it.
Students will be invited to participate in a variety of extra-curricular programs throughout the school year including basketball, cross-country, chorus, seasonal plays, cheerleading, etc.
You and I play a very important role in the development of your child and he/she is depending on both of us. Our attitude and enthusiasm for learning and getting involved is reflected in them. Without a doubt, participation in some of these activities will enhance your child’s school experience. Lets work together to make the most of their third grade year!
