Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! Despite all of the challenges we are facing in our world, the Williamstown faculty and staff are focused on having a great school year filled with a lot of learning and a little fun as well! We are excited about having students back in the building after such a long closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are also excited about the opportunities that our virtual learning academy will provide to students who are learning from home. Although this school year is not going to look the same as what we are all used to, we know that everyone will come together and support one another so that students can have a safe, healthy, and positive school experience!
Our mission is to establish a secure environment and create a foundation for lifelong learning by engaging, educating, and empowering students to reach their full potential. We want our students to be prepared for life after high school, whether that includes going to college/technical school or entering the workforce. It is our goal to not only teach our curriculum, but to teach crucial life skills, including verbal and written communication skills, teamwork and collaboration, adaptability, problem solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution. We hope to provide students with the ability to perform these tasks proficiently so that each student will become a productive member of our society.
In closing, I want to thank all parents and community members for their support of our students and staff. Partnering together to provide the best possible educational, extracurricular, and co-curricular opportunities for students is always the best way to ensure student success. Let's continue to work together to make this another great year at Williamstown!
